Compassionate Guidance Through Life’s Changes that Lead to Transformation

How I Help

Individual Counseling

We all have times in life where we feel that something in us needs to change and something in our lives needs to improve. We don’t always know what it will take, but it often includes looking back, looking within, and imagining a new future. Using a client-centered approach which integrates theories of IFS and attachment needs and traumas, whatever change you’re seeking, I am here to help. I also have experience and/or training in Prolonged Grief Disorder, ASD and ADHD in adults, military life and Emotion Focused Therapy for individuals.

Brainspotting

I am Levels 1 & 2 Brainspotting certified. If you are seeking somatically-focused therapy, I can incorporate it into our sessions or conduct sessions solely focused on brainspotting. Brainspotting (BSP) is a powerful form of somatic-processing therapy that locates spots in one’s visual field tied to limbic storage of traumatic memories and experiences (including PTSD symptoms), anxiety, depression, psychosomatic body issues such as IBS, phobias, panic attacks, creativity blocks, addictions and habits, and patterns of thinking, and can transforms these responses to allow healing.

Couples Counseling

Most couples, if not all, will find themselves at a time in their relationship where they need to bring in a third party who can help increase healthy communication, reduce conflict, repair relational injuries and bring back the fun and intimacy you previously enjoyed. Sometimes couples also just want to work on shared goals, visions and hopes for the future. I have training in Gottman Method Level 1, and I incorporate the concepts of Emotion Focused Therapy. I have experience with couples who are neurodivergent, LGBTQ+, in the military, and have blended families. Whatever your reasons for engaging in couples therapy, I am here to help.
