My Experience
I am passionate about working with couples and individuals on various issues that affect relationships with self and others. Previously, I worked as a residential counselor with teenagers, where I realized the importance of attachment disruption, relational trust and safety, emotion regulation, self-worth. I worked as a case manager at an-inpatient facility for a Dignity Health location, where I led groups and conducted intakes for those being admitted. This was vital to understanding what happens on the other side when a client has a 51-50 and needs to be admitted to the hospital. I also have experience at a non-profit, sliding-scale agency for family and couples support, increasing my awareness of the various environmental factors that press individuals, couples and families as challenges to mental and emotional health. I have volunteered through Hospice of Santa Cruz at Camp Erin, a weekend camp for youth who have lost a family member, where I learned the value of support and camaraderie with those who have experienced a similar loss in grieving and healing.
I have maintained a private practice in Santa Cruz for four years and am also licensed in Massachusetts.
